The hop up adjustment screw is different from tanaka type. It is similar to PDI/CA M24 buthe adjustment screw is on the top, i.e. the screw adjusts a lever and the lever puts pressure on the rubber tube on top of the hop up rubber. it uses marui AEG hop up rubber and inner barrel.

BTW, the hop up lever was broken into two pieces on my 338 (before I did anything!) Luckily, I got it fixed easily.
