用支威力咁強既槍去打死隻只懂害怕的鹿, 事後仲用影相炫耀, 還要放上網展示,
一張充份反影出人類心態, 弱肉強食現實的圖片.

Hunting is easily portrayed as an act of evilness, of tyranny over this weak animal.
Truth is, I abide all laws here in the US to hunt. I don't try to shoot as many deer as I can, just enough meat for a few months.

Some people go hunting for killing, as much as they want. I stalked and hunted for 5 days this time and decided to take this deer. I could tell it wasn't a bably, but at the same time wasn't the strongest of it's kind. If it weren't me it would had been taken out somehow.

Most importantly, lots of my friends in HK don't realise how much hunters actually do for the environment. Here we strive to keep the environment intact for the wildlife and vegitation to grow free. Hunting, just like gardening is a method for us to manage our wildlife.

Deer is overpopulated in Texas. They compete with not only cattle for food, but they also compete with each other, starving each other out and in other words, if people didn't hunt them, they would be like rabbits in Australia... they would eat up ALL the resources.

I practice hard to know how my rifle shoots. I never let animals suffer from a bad shot, I hate that. For this deer, I took it with a shot through both shoulders, both lungs and heart. It did not live in much pain.

Hunting is much more than what most animal rights groups try to portrey. Hunting with land owners are probably the sole forces in protecting the environment here in the US.

My friend just got this:
Around 2xUSD
Winchester Supreme - ballistic silver-tip bullets (x20)
.308win (=7.62x51 NATO)
作者: Henry    時間: 9-1-2008 04:17

those winchester silvertips look mean, but they're not that accurate.
I either shoot Federal Gold Medal match ammo, or I shoot my own re-loads.
Loading your own ammunition, you can get the most accuracy out of a rifle, but it also takes a lot longer

I wish HK was the same, but the thing is, people aren't used to having real guns around, there really would be too many accidental discharges

another thing is, HK is way too dense to shoot rifles... you'd probably hit 5 people with 1 stray bullet.

Ignorance is what's killing the planet, 'we're doing the environment a flavor' blah blah blah. Load of crap trying to justify or rationalize killing by assuming the animal would end up dead one way or the other. Survival of the fittest is what establishes equilibrium man and please show dominance by giving him a fair go by taking the the animal bare handed. Humans are overpopulated too does that mean you can start shooting them for the nature's sake as well? Respect wild animals your trigger doesnt have the right to decide what lives and what doesn't.

shooting defenceless animals makes you feel like the man you always want to be but never will be?
calling yourself a "Leatherneck" making you feel like a man you'll never be?
because I happen to shoot with a US Marine who could probably stick your head back into your anus.

Legal hunting isn't poaching, you arse licker.

you also spelled "defenseless" wrong.

alright, wow, now that's a totally different story. My full apologies, I didn't know you were actually a Marine.
You've got to understand how some posers actually pissed me off with posing as an actual unit.

I am a US Citizen by birth, and I've spent most of my life over here in the states if that would clear anything up for you.
I'll admit it, I'm probably not cut out enough to be a Marine. I'm going into Army medicine.

I've never run into any serviceman who's been quite as negative towards hunting. Honestly, I can't name a single one who despises hunting. I guess I'm just too wrapped up in the guys I hang out with.

My marine shooting buddy isn't enlisted. I'll leave that there too.
作者: Henry    時間: 14-3-2008 06:07

I'd like to add though, that it was not honorable on my part to get as offended as I did. I'm sorry if I offended anyone here, but I'd still like some of these guys to understand that I'm not that kind of an ass. Hunting is an issue that's so split even within the United States, and I guess I'll accept that.

On another note... Leatherneck, as an officer you should know better than trying to undercut another Marine friend and I. Again, I apologize for shooting my own mouth off this quickly, a simple PM should've left everything the way they were...

I guess after this post, I'm likely to either leave this forum or rarely post on this forum. This isn't the kind of environment I like posting at.

thanks guys
Henry

by limiting firearms at range and gun club only, I can not see a big threat to the public. In fact IMO US such do the same thing.

HK is way too dense?? many of us might not notice ,75% of Hong Kong land are undeveloped, take a good look at google earth and we get the real picture. But relaxing the regulation only give the government more workload, and most Hong Kong people are busy with making more money (yet not necessary improving their living standard) and not shooting spot, making the prospect of this sport on this land rather dim.
