here's my version.. I took my face veil down, i've got a piece of the suit that goes in front of my face, but my friend was taking the photo so I took it down
oh and it was cold and rainy that morning so I didn't wear my OD pilot gloves. the black leathers give me away a bit more.

I made it myself... takes FOREVER

hey what kind of AI rifle is that?
I shot one a few months ago at my range... in .338 lapua... WOW is that rifle accurate. I had shot three shots in the same hole at 100m

and WOW are they expensive. (the rifle, .338 round and scope... are so very expensive!)

Oh...yours range? where do you live? My rifle is toy gun only.
yes, the scope is expensive and the British/Euro version dovetail mount is very hard to find.

I was hunting deer in a tree, not Colombian drug lords in the jungle. Ask any real sniper and they'll tell you the suit is to break your outline. Having local vegitation on you is nice and sure blends you in, but try stalking deer in the rain for 3 days when it's 5degC and you tell me if you'd rather strap grass on you or have an actual jumpsuit.

i'm only saying this because you're being a condescending prick about things.

i'd compare the .338 to a .300 WinMag's recoil.
Honestly when it comes to single shot rifles, recoil isn't ever an issue... as long as you shoulder the rifle correctly recoil isn't too much of a problem

what was great is... those things are ACCURATE.

762x51 is my favourite rifle shot. It's got lots of potential, but again, i shoot 100-600m

.300 WinMag and .338 Lapua really makes a difference when it comes to 1000+m targets. Being magnum rounds, they pack more powder and push much more power behind the bullet and boosts a higher velocity... what that results to is a shot that doesn't drop as much as 762x51 and isn't as affected by the wind

basically you're adjusting less elevation and windage when you're shooting 1000+ long range targets.
5.56 sucks piss when it comes to long range. I had to adjust 18 inches for wind once while my friend was adjusting 4 inches in the same wind at 400m. That's why I sold my 5.56 precision rifle for my M14.

the AI is a great rifle, and they're very expensive too... to American shooters, it's not worth it, because our Remington 700 variants can shoot with similar accuracy and cost 40% the AI... I don't think the British manufactures sell many to foreign units, much less foreign civilian shooters.

ACCURATE & Reliable. So many country special force are well equipped.
But... When you fire the AI .338 how did you feeling the velocity is faster then the 7.62?
Could you have any technique for the real fire velocity?
Many years ago, i was shot the 7.62 L1A1 in 25m range, i can see the mist on the trajectory.
but i shot the SA80 5.56, i can't feeling it.
