岩岩睇完youtube有段片
有個private 16歲就入左英軍...去左阿褲浪
其實咁算唔算係童兵?
唔計非洲果d...
其他國家最後生係咪16歲就可以參軍?

I think it is 16, the age when you finish GCSE ( equivalent to HKCEE in Hong Kong) , under this age you will be illegal to be employed.

我想Mcronny大佬係講D Boy Soldier而唔係正規, 但我不明係佢又點可以16歲去戰區?

世事無絕對,英國無身份証,又唔係人人都有護照,車牌又無相,(現在有相了)但本少爺唔中意換新,吹我唔脹?一張A4 size 就係車牌?吹水啫,何必深究???

佢真係16歲

I have view this link: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=c5uVUmXaFCM&feature=related at the really end that young solider was "join the Army when he was 16 ( I believe he was a Boy Solider when first join) and now is just 18. The youngest one in the regiment.

At the end it alos stated that because he is now just 18 so he could legally join in the Combat.

that means you can join at 16 but have to wait untill 18 to join the combat.

No, not quite right.....as MSWong said the day you passing out you must reach 18. So you could join in the Army when you are 17year and half or few months before reach up to 18 years (depending the service you are in) so the day you complete your training and become a soldier you MUST BE 18.

What is PTAD in the US Military? Are you in the military forces that need to service in the font line? As far as I understand US would not allow any solider below 17 for war. Same as the solider in the UK.

Thank you very much for the details explanation about the PTAD in the US. This sound like the boy solider or the cadet in the British Army, yes, you could be a boy solider or cadet before the ago of 18. However, you still not received the full training as a combat solider with your PTAD training.
I do not think you could be a combat solider in the US or the UK if you do not reach the age of 18 or above.

無錯，好多工作，係軍人先做得到、做得黎，
但同樣，都好多工作，係警察先做得掂既。

唔好講其他，就咁講抄牌一樣，
我諗軍方都唔係好曉點做，rite? 就算MP都如是。

工種不同，性質同要求要亦自然有別，
前輩又何苦要用咁既語氣黎形容警察呢?

BTW，若在下無記錯的話，
係WWII期間，香港警察亦都全體宣誓為作戰單位，
有份為保衛香港而戰既，
而赤柱軍人墳場入面，
亦都有唔少墓碑上面刻住既係香港警察既警徽。

唔好講到「為國為民」咁大使命，
簡單一句，
大家都係打份政府工，出份糧，做份內事遮。
除階級外，工種並無高低之分，不是嗎?

你講既係俗稱既"地moon仔",passing out後駐守學堂,夠秤才調出環頭

各位大佬, 首先, 小弟在此聲明, 並無說軍人或警察有高低之別, 只是說明及強調軍人之主要職責是保家衛國, 對外戰爭(打仗), 而警察之職責主要是維持治安(捉賊, 抄牌, 捉小販等)
香港警察制度比較特別, 是半軍事化訓練, 尤其PTU及SDU訓練, SDU更是纯軍事化特種訓練.

小弟以前在香港都有幸參與一些警察訓練工作, 到現在都與很多現役及退役警察有深联络, 而且, 我並非只針對香港警察, 而是指慨括警察及軍人之分別. 並非单指香港警察.
小弟離開軍隊多年, 亦離開香港足有15年之久, 並無意為以往工作而爭一日之長短.

但17歲當兵執行職務是無可能之事, 如被打死更為大件事, 如果師兄要辯搏有朋友17歲可做香港警察, 就不得而知....而此文帖更是只談當兵之年齡, 講香港警察似乎有些離題.
更且我只強調, 軍人打仗, 警察捉賊來作分別, 致令各位誤解, 深感不安.

小弟"老野"一名, 並非前輩或師父, 請不要再取笑小弟..
