Not easy to find a Hollywood star with such a good shooting posture nowadays:-

Photo from the movie "STREET KINGS"

His head was keeping a good vertical plane against the shooting line (eye vision tunnel is being fully used), many novice shooters have the mistake with their head keeping a triangular plane against the shooting line (his eye vision tunnel will not be fully used)

Below is the bad demo:-

Photo from the movie"SWAT" (lots of worst shooting posture shown in this movie )

P.S. Above comments are only my personal opinion, if not agree or anything offence you, please forgive me

his hands are ok, but now as of sense making for a 1911. his thumb is not on the safety self, he probably could say that right after a reload 'OMG... I CAN'T FIRE MY GUN.' Thus, actors' job is showing their audiences with great performance which contrabutes to the whole story. I never believe we can learn firearms from actors.

Agree, you're highlighting some of the main rules in real firearm training in the range......in fact, lots of serious and hard training are actually involved in real firearns training....but most wargame or toygun players like to copy the style from some gunfight movie when playing with the toygun.....at least, introduce some better production is not a bad idea, my friend

Are you meaning "Weaver"style (Jack Weaver) firing position? If it's, I think the main actor of KS was doing that. It was said to be the most tactical firing position in combat especially when you need to shoot behind cover. But it was hard to practice if you wish to shoot perfectly, and many novice shooter or competitior in shooting race prefer to use "isosceles" style nowadays and including disciplinary forces agents as well, isosceles is fast to learn and easy to manipulate the skill, but the weak point is, it's not very efffective when shooting behind the cover.

As also pointed out by "iceprivate" at above, the main actor was not doing too well after watching the motion demo in his training, his pistol handgrip in controlling the recoil was a bit loose and affected his grouping in next shot. But another actor doing the shotgun was suprisingly fine in controlling the recoil, and his stance was stable.

Again, above comment was only my personal view, no offences to any brilliant shooters in this forum .
