a video distributed by the Georgian Foreign Ministry shows what appears to be a Russian MiG-29 shooting down an unarmed Georgian drone Hermes 450 from which the record was made, moments before impact over Georgian territory on 20 April 2008. Georgian authorities said the Russian fighter jet has shot down the reconnaissance aircraft over the breakaway Georgian region of Abkhazia. A Russian air force spokesman said the claim was "nonsense" while Abkhaz rebels said they had downed the drone. Russia says there were no flights performed by Russian military planes that day in that region
