Minebea M9 submachine gun was developed by Japanese Minebea company to replace obsolete US-made M3 submachine guns in service with Japan Self-defense Forces (JSDF). JSDF adopted this weapon during early 1990s to arm secondary military personnel like tank, vehicle and artillery crews (M9 is issued as a personal defense weapon instead of the traditional pistol). Minebea M9 is based on Mini-Uzi submachine gun. It was produced under license from IMI (now IWI Ltd), and it seems that it is no longer made. Some sources in Japan suggest that JSDF is looking to replace this submachine gun (which has some dubious features) with German-made HK MP5 submachine guns.

In its basic design, Minebea M9 submachine gun closely resembles the Mini-Uzi. It has the same simple blowback action with bolt that telescopes around the rear part of the barrel. Firing is from open bolt (presumably), in full and semi-automatic modes. Unlike its prototype, Japanese submachine gun is fitted with additional front grip and a flash hider on the barrel. On the other hand, there's no shoulder stock, and this greatly limits the accuracy of fire, especially when firing in full automatic mode with such high rate of fire.

The K7 submachine gun was developed by Daewoo Precision Industries Ltd Co, a subsidiary to the large DAEWOO Corporation. Daewoo K7 was developed to provide less expensive alternative to German-made HK MP5SD submachine guns, used by South Korean Special Forces. To achieve minimal costs and controls compatibility with other small arms in service with South Korean armed forces, K7 utilizes as many parts from Daewoo-made K1A and K2 assault rifles as possible. Daewoo K7 submachine gun is used by Special Forces of the South Korea and Indonesia.

Daewoo K7 submachine gun is blowback-operated, selective fired submachine gun. It fires from closed bolt, and employs hammer / fire control unit of the K1A assault carbine, borrowed along with aluminum alloy lower receiver. K7 is fitted with bolt hold-open device that holds the bolt open when last round from magazine is fired. The upper receiver is a modified K2 part, with omitted gas system. Telescoping buttstock is also borrowed from K1A carbine. Large magazine well has a special plug installed to accomodate shorter 9mm magazines. The most important feature of the K7 is its integral silencer, which is "wrapped" around the barrel and is said to reduce the sound signature down to about 120 dB.

Model635衝鋒槍是以M16A2為基礎開發出的9mm派拉貝魯姆口徑衝鋒槍，現在Colt的商業名稱為RO635（全自動）和RO639（點射），也稱為ColtSMG（柯爾特衝鋒槍），有些人稱其為Colt9mm。槍管長267mm，全槍重2.59kg，沒有輔助推機柄，發射9×19mmPara手槍彈，使用20發或32發直形彈匣。照門有兩個表尺，分別為50米和100米。M635的市場開發是成功的，面對MP5幾乎壟斷的特警隊衝鋒槍市場，M635仍能爭得一席之地。

秘魯MGP-15式衝鋒槍

ＭＧＰ－１５式９ｍｍ衝鋒槍由秘魯西瑪瑟法爾公司設計和生產，目的是滿足特種部隊和保安部隊在特殊環境下快速反應和作戰中提供密集火力的需要。該槍現已裝備秘魯武裝部隊使用。
ＭＧＰ－１５的外形、結構特點和性能幾乎與ＭＧＰ－８４式衝鋒槍完全一樣，只是全槍長和槍管長----比ＭＧＰ－８４式短一些而已。
結構特點
1. 槍
ＭＧＰ－１５式衝鋒槍採用自由槍機式工作原理。折疊式槍托鉸接在機匣尾端，向右折疊後肩托板可作為前握把。槍管不外露，彈匣倉與握把合為一體。保險與快慢機結合成一個選擇開關，位於扳機的前端，用非*作扳機的手*作。該槍平衡性良好，質心位於握把上，需要時也可單手射擊。槍機為包絡式，以便最大限度地增加槍管長----度。該槍的彈匣是２０發或３２發彈匣，其設計與烏齊衝鋒槍的彈匣一樣，兩者可以通用。
該槍可配用消聲器，只要卸下機匣前方的槍管定位螺帽，再將消聲器擰在該位置上即可。
2. 瞄準裝置
該槍採用機械瞄準具，由方向和高低均可調的片狀準星及兩個位置缺口照門組成，射程裝定為１００ｍ和２００ｍ。
3. 彈藥
該槍發射９ｍｍ帕拉貝魯姆手槍彈。
