I got a 9.6V 1600mah Ni-Mh batt. Which A (amp?) should I use when I charge it ( my charger got 1A - 4A ), also "slow charge" or "fast charge" is better?

The lower the A is, the longer time it takes to fully charge a battery.
the higher the A is, takes shorter time to complete the charge but will Gen more heat, which kills the battery...
