MS and other C-hings: a buddy of mine (a Hong Kong policeman) will attend the 6-week Course in Catterwick starting 17 Aug. Any tips for survival?

adj兄,ms三十幾年前去 School of infantry Warminster........十年前去 Infantry Training Centre Wales.....歲月催人老!又十年喇 Catterwick....第一次聽,令尊大人可好!

MS 兄，在下约左果位兄弟下個禮拜食晚飯吹水，佢係SIP，上堂係工作需要。聽過又要查房又要罸請砵酒，有冇貼士醒醒俾位兄弟?

Infantry School已搬到 Catterwick

家父昨年今月已過世，猶幸在下能守在在身邊至最後一刻，出殯時有退役同僚會二＋多個老袍澤(個個都七八十歲)送一程，又找到他喜歡的陪葬品

All Arms Drill Instructor is only designed for SNCOs etc. Your friend would be an officer grade........

UK Military courses would treat overseas students better than any local British Students. I never done Dill course before but with any military course; if you put your head down and follow instructions from the instructors. Get on well with the course students than there would be no problem.

All the punishments etc during the course is only a game........

At the end of the course all you want is a pass!

Thanks for the tips - jwlchan C-HING. my buddie is a DMI at the Police College, so I think the School of Infantry changed the rule somehow for HKPF.

BTW, the accreditation exercise went well last week http://www.cvqo.org/dnn/ , thanks for your encouragement along the way.

I hope the information would be useful for you.

Also, congratulation for your success with the CVQO.

Well done for yout team!

Please also let your friend know to look after his "Turn out"...i.e. his uniforms and if he need a pair of boot than it need to be highly polished. I mean Highly Polish.

I know that in the Police they pay for people to deal with their shoes and uniforms. HOwever, it would be a difference ball game with the Military. Also, like nasal hair, etc would need pay more attention.

ms總是粗心大意,以為貴友去學槍.....原來學操!問題而下
1.是否Guards Depot 由Pirbright搬到此!
2.有沒有joining instruction?
3.帶夏季制服還是冬季!

ms去過......軍隊規矩未去過此course....不能成為全科教操佬?什麼是全科呢......包括:
Definitions 例如

教操佬的条件等等
