Hi, guys, I'm a rookie in air soft gun,.

Can i justsimply use the WD-40 to oil my gun's slide and parts?
And will there be any -ne effect caused by WD-40 to some plastic parts within the gun?

DO NOT EVER USE WD40 on your gun
especially if it is a gas gun
Coz WD40 will dissolve rubber, so your gun's o-ring cannot stop gas from leaking
BTW, WD-40 is "Water Displacement - 40", it is not a lubricant

you can use WD-40 to scrub away rusts....but
Rule of thumb: Never apply it to plastic parts...

btw actually wt should i buy for oiling safely with my air soft gun ?

apart from silicon...
maybe some greases for the gear box
