Total loss: $1960.00 USD

okay so if ANYONE has any info on this fool please let me know.

Hello everyone,

This is start to finish a deal I am in the middle of and need help getting it sorted.

It all started with me emailing passed buyers of my items on ebay. I sent numerous people links to photos offering what I had up for sale, some got back some didn't.
Chan Ken started replying to my message through email so we started emailing back and forth...as any selling goes...

I have not gotten a reply from him since Dec. 23rd nor has a package shown up and it should have been sent express EMS

I have chatted with Martin Yim (see below for more info) on msn and he claims he knows nothing about this Chan Ken.
But the name on the PayPal email matches HIS name, AND the address I shipped my side to Is under HIS name.
The pictures Chan ken Sent me was all gear of MARTIN YIM's.


The outcome of the trade after a few days of talking back and forth was:

My end:
$700 for all the pouches/ $120 for LBT vest in the picture:
$443 for accessory lot:
5. Wilcox control grip m600 scout tailcap $200
6. Adventure Lights VIP IR/green strobe $100
7. CAT $20
8. CAA g25 AR grip $15
9. Insight peq pressure switch $30
10. SOF bladetech Glock with X200 kydex holster $60
11. BHI riggers belt medium I believe $18
total $1260 USD

His end:
-Chan owed me $1260 but offered combat shirt and 1961 for $850 bringing what he owed me down to $410.
-CRYE combat pants in 32regular in AOR1 with gen 2 pads. NEW was offered at $700.
-I offered TASC headset for $110 which brought the pants cost down to $590.
- I had chan send the $410 he owed me to the friend offering the pants since I owed him $590, leaving me owing $180 on the pants.
-I sent the $180 as gift(meaning I can't claim it through PP) to this address: zeonzaku2010@hotmail.com
-EMS shipping on my end was $170 so, He could not afford that so He threw in BHI HPFU M-R pants and a crye/eagle aor1 hydration pouch to cover those costs.

Tracking number for the package He sent to me, HK post: RB266031785HK (shows as a letter when it should be a package or parcel)
Tracking number for the package I sent to him, Canadapost: EE132687288CA (delivered)


Here is all the other information I have come up with about this guy, and his so called "friend"  (Believed to be the same person:
(I have blanked out small parts of addresses and his phone number for privacy but I have all that info if needed.

Because of the above(payment as a gift) I can not claim it through paypal as it was not for an item.

this little piece of plastic (garbage) is definitely not a combat shirt and pants, hpfu pants, a aor1 hydro or a first gen 1961...

as you can see the address is the same as the address I sent my side of the trade to. only difference is he put Martin Tim on it this time:

早12月我睇某外地gear論壇叫略略知一二 ....


一個連續呃外國人gear同錢的香港年青人

而E個年青人亦活躍於本地論壇

當中索涉幾個幾出名的gear賣家

受害者分別來自美國 , 加拿大同西班牙

亦有現役軍人

但E個年青人以乎忘記了PAYPAL 有名同資料可尋 ,

雖然不停開分身acc扮放野或交易 ,Fake Paypal account, 寄空包裹 , Ebay 羸左唔比錢(淨1個受害者已有共80個unpaid item)........ etc 層出不窮

但從地址 / credit card holder 依然可發現乃同一人所為

而眾受害者係3個外地gear 論壇亦有開post合力追緝此香港人下落


(E個年青人早幾日仲放緊貨係2手區)


受害人係香港論壇開呢post只係毫無方法下求助

Well this is a good point to nail these rats in CGF (if they post sale in CGF and CGF awared the situation now)! CGF should pass this information to HKP for record and reference, any action is upto HKP to decide!

Sorry buddy, but there isn't much that can be done...I had pretty much the same experience when I was in Canada as well, and it also involved a seller from Hong Kong. From that point on, I told myself not to buy stuff from any seller without going through eBay and Paypal system.....i mean, at the end of the day, you may lose a dollar for saving a dime...

I guess now the only thing Mr RESLUCHUB you can do is wait for the reply from the HK police. The other thing that might help is to try look for other victim thru all airsoft forum that had bad experience with this seller, and possible have them send an e-mail to the HK police.

By the way, I kind of remember seeing the gear pics on the Europe systema forum. May be you can try there too...good luck,

dude, if u have already sent the info to the HKP, i suggest u wait for a few days for their reply as the standard government guideline to reply all emails is within 7 days, of course, other departments may be different, alternativily, u may also call 1823, this is the call center of HKG and they should be able to direct ur call to the right department if u have explain to them clearly, please bear in mind that after they direct u to the right department, u may still need to wait for 2-3days for reply, again this is the standard guideline only for calling from the phone, other department may be different. i hope this will help u, good luck

i would strongly suggest you report this to calgary PD, HKPD, in the meanwhile a copy of this report to ebay and paypal to see if it's at all possible to get your money back.

the m600 tailcap is for a surefire scout light. it works like the m951 tailcaps with the button and the pressure switch, though I do not have the pressure switch. it can also be plugged into a wilcox control grip.
I will get you more photos of the uniform later today, but for now here is the info I have on them:

This set has been given to me by a friend who got it from a gold team operator.
Before Crye precision AOR2 sets, devgru asked many brands to make some sets in AOR2.

Thanks for the update ! Also, thanks for helping Wey Ferro with his dealings with Martin Yim. He (Martin) has been a pain to me, buying 80+ items off eBay and not paying. Luckily I didn't ship anything, so it was more frustrating then a real loss of money, but I consider Ferro a friend of mine and he lost quite a bit to him as you know.
