I don't think it is very useful. 338 lapua is a great ammo but it is for long range where bolt action will be more accurate. Also the ammo is too expensive for normal people to shoot and the military (at least the US one) haven't adopt it. I think the only thing preventing the SR 25 from getting replaced is the relationship between KAC and the US military. The sr25 is not the most accurate nor the most reliable semi automatic sniper rifle on the market. KAC has some innovative product but their guns are all AR platform.
