小弟喺英國玩 CCF  發現一d疑問  希望師兄幫幫忙
1) field jacket 之分別  點解有啲 jacket 外層有啲一格格嘅文  有啲 jacket質地似 2000式  不過無格文
    有人話有格嗰隻耐磨   是否屬實? (但聽說2000質地嗰隻係最新)
2) 本人覺得而家隻 2000式 combat trouser 太薄  唔係太耐磨 好多時叢林環境比 d 草'吉'得好痛  爬行時都受苦
    想問下英軍查實有無出 d 厚身啲褲?

條褲任可以搵到唔係 light weight，NSN 有寫

'啲一格格嘅文' - This is ripstop jacket. Quick dry & light weight. Not commonly used but can be found by P-company selection. I don't like this jacket coz it has a lot of white dots as worn out.

In fact, the fabric for para jacket, arctic smock & field jacket is different.

For the trousers, yes they have different combat trousers. I think the one you used is for tropical. The british army has cold weather combat trousers that issued in early 80s'. However, I don't think soilder 2000 has cold weather trousers coz they have thermal trousers - the softtie.

You can still found the cold weather combat trousers in the market. I have one and I like it very much. However, it's too warm to wear in the Hong Kong.
