i think some people in hong kong are so manipulated by the media to relentlessly and blindly condemn every single thing that's happening north of us. their thoughtless automatic responses render me not to evaluate them at all. some of their logic can be generalised as:
1) mass production ability -> the products would probably explode, must condemn
2) new engineering products -> meh they must have copied it. look at this aircraft, it has wings just like others
3) arrests of government officials -> staged
4) arrests of other people -> political arrest
5) natural disaster -> they deserve it
and so on
