Original Designation: Parka, Night Camouflage, Desert
Translated Designation: No info
History: Quite a peculiar pattern: it was developed to be hard to see in older generation night vision devices (hence the mesh pattern that would interfere with the square dots used by night vision devices)
Use: Used by US armed forces - especially during the 1st Gulf War
Camouflage pattern: Light green background with a dark green mesh and irregular dot-like shapes
Other Information: Current night vision devices have now made this pattern obsolete
The parka is supposed to be worn over the standard uniform so there is no pockets - just holes that allow access to the uniform's pockets
