Kar.98K Mauser

Can you show me some more photos (markings) of the stock?
Currently studing on 98k stock but yours doesn't seems like laminated nor walnut stock. but beechwood

German Parts in different period should be able to assembly
However matching parts always worth more in terms of value and "self feeling"

The first stock is not laminated stock.
I guess I can find some information if you can show some more stampings
The second stock is a nice Kriegsmarine Kar98k walnut stock!!should be made by Steyr  
Match it with Tanaka or CAW 98k which is Bnz coded
CMC 98k are real nice but it's byf coded, which means Mauser made.

BTW, I wounder if trigger guard/ floor plate and bolt is ok or not in HK

From what I heard CAW was using the mold of CMC, and CAW was closely related to Tanaka, thus modding them into real stock should be not a big problem
It would be strange with a Wz29 without finger Grooves
If you are able to find a Real Steel receiver, just keep it and do not mod it into a model gun receiver
