Normal pistol grip in some states = No 30rds magazine
Non-Pistol grip = legal to have AR15 with 30rds magazine
this type of AR15 called " Featureless AR15" , people build it for keeping 30rds magazine or go around the local states law
EACH USA States have different gun laws, Each County/City of each states have different gun laws
A featureless rifle is one that does not have any of these: a pistol grip, flash suppressor, forward pistol grip, telescoping stock, thumbhole stock, or grenade/flare launcher. If your rifle is featureless, you're allowed to have detachable magazines.
