AN SAS fantasist who marched at a Remembrance Day parade wearing an impossible array of medals has had all charges dropped because of a legal blunder.
Real veterans called cops when they suspected the 17 medals 62-year-old Roger Day was wearing were fake.
But bungling prosecutors charged Day, who posed as an ex-SAS member, under a law that had been repealed just 11 days before the Poppy Day march.
The charge of "unlawfully using decoration", which he had admitted in court, has now been dismissed by magistrates.
Last night Day, who was at a march in Bedworth, Warwicks, said: "I am considering legal action against all those who muddied my name."
And he told reporters: "I'm vindicated. I've a big story to tell but I want a good price."
Wife Maxine, 38, said: "My husband did nothing illegal."
