My old man's partner during the Summer Riots of 1967 when he was the Sergeant Major of EUKE - can still see those M1s, Federals and Greeners in the old newsreels of 1967.

M1 Carbine's replacement in the Force was AR15 in the early 1970's

Trust me (or Police Annual Reports on late 1940's/early 1950's - where I saw the info), don't trust the article. Colt .45s were only used by frontier and Emergeny Unit in NT in the late 1940's and early 1950's.

Any one serving in the Force on this forum ever come across a Colt AR15 Rifle with "M16" marking

Mswong 兄，應該有嘅....SDU 同 GSG9 重成日有人員交流，正如 GFS 同 RAF 一年有幾 Team 人交流一樣，不過依家比97前反而仲多左選擇
