if u take the shot in a cafe, that means the color temperature of the surrounding is not gonna match with the strobe.
use gel or color paper as filter or convert the color temperature of the strobe from 5200K to the surroundings ( maybe tungsten? )
i seldom see people taking picture of food with strobe  well you can always bounce it nevertheless..
