and which "DPhil" degree are you studying exactly?
i really didn't know you can enrol directly to a research doctorate degree in oxford
would you mind to share who's your mentor and which college you got into ?

i envy you...
i've been told by my professors that there's much lower chance for outsider to enrol directly into an oxf dphil without getting an mphil from the same school
at least it's true for department of politics and IR. i'm studying in cambridge for my master yet oxford has been reluctant to consider my research proposal for a Dphil...

Oh not really. I got one from The Chinese Univ. of HK, and worked as a research and teaching assistant in the same school for a year. The reason of my gap year being...simply, I was turned down by ...

it probably has to do with your work experience as well, which i suspect as to why they keep on rejecting me with limited working experience.
oh well oxbridge never go along well with each other anyway... i might just go to beijing for further study instead.
