To counter all you people who continually say that VFC is so great because their guns can last underwater...
Do some research. MOST AEGs can be dunked underwater and survive for the next few minutes.
However, if you refuse to dry the gearbox and other related metal parts, it will corrode inside. This goes for ANY gun. VFC, Tokyo Marui, CYMA, Jing Gong, Classic Army, and the rest.
I see arguments such as how the "VFC 416 keeps the water out of the vital areas such as the electric motor." Uhh... NO. I can tell you right now that if you examine your M4/M16 pistol grip, there are plenty of areas where the water can enter; meaning that water entered my pistol grip and into the motor. What do you know? IT STILL WORKS.
In addition, although not recorded, I made sure I wouldn't kill my gun by putting in an old crappy motor into water and attempting to have it cycle. With direct water contact, I was able to have the motor turn.
To all you people I just proved wrong, get some proof before you even talk about it. I saw a person saying that a Classic Army will die if you did it and called the person who said it wasn't a great feat an idiot. Well, I wonder what you're going to say now...
