中間漏斗其實是無線電通訊室,漏斗型設計可有坐減少無線訊嘈扞擾及敵人由外界截聽.
但在建築時英軍在主力水泥牆上藏了偷聽器爾防落入敵人手中.

除了外觀漏斗外,你所講的兩組升降機的分樓層設計在中環的甲級寫字樓也很常見.
不知道在各樓層樓裡,英國的防治保安侵透佈局是怎樣?
同時想問問北約亞太總部存不存在在漏斗大厦內?

The brit and the west were doing a lot intelligent collection work in Hong Kong against the commie block pre 1997. On the other hand, the PLA HK Garrison is more of a symbolic one,how much office space for paper work could they utilizes.

One would suggest , they could do intel. collection work for any anti PRC government at this building, but one with the least military sense would know they could be better off doing than on the other side of the  shenzhen river.
