As an AEG, well, it's hard to say that GG L85Ax is a good choice.
But compared with other SA80 canditates like old MMC, Academy, and even **, it's respectively worth to buy.
I personally own one GG L85A1, for the follwoing reasons:
1. I got a set of 80~90's UK uniform and equipments
2. I like SA80, especially the old version A1
3. the proportion of this GG is better than **, the **'s outer barrel seems too short...although the whole length of ** is longer than GG.
4. it's proved that l ** is quite easy to get rusty (almost 100%)
About the problems of ** you can see above, well, may be I am just lucky, or due to my SA80 is not that frequently used, it's still in good condition.
Many people will reommend the coming "Army Kode' to you, bcoz it's still a variant, no body will know if it's good or not, but so far the looking seems excellent, and so will be the price (some said it will be close to HK$4000)
