just use wet cloth to wipe the surface and inside(where it touches ur body) and hang dry after every time u played should be ok la. if once/twice a year, should dip into a bucket of soap water for like few hours and then brush it with a brush. then rinse with water and hang dry. thats what we did last time..but ofcos, this is just wargame je..u not wearing it everyday..so i guess just wipe after everytime u play is enough la
