Trijicon has unveiled a new mounted machine gun optic, the Machine Gun Reflex Sight (MGRS), to provide mounted machine gunners with a sight similar to the company's legacy Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG).
The illuminated reticle - a 35 MOA segmented circle with 3 MOA dot - is powered by a single CR123A lithium battery and uses seven adjustable brightness settings: two night vision and five day settings. Two interchangeable ranging dials, one for the .50-calibre M2 and another for the 7.62 mm M240 machine gun, allow the operator to select target distances for the host weapon, according to Trijicon specification sheet.
