Electronics Technician
As an electronics technician, your work could make the difference to the detection of terrorist activity.
Part of a small team in a workshop environment, you’ll be working with highly sophisticated electronics and communications technology including legacy systems, bespoke and commercial equipment with a view to using future technologies. You’ll be working with a wide range of equipments to support investigations into threats to national security.
Technical ability (demonstrated through a minimum of BTEC ONC or equivalent in electronics or data communications and appropriate work experience) is essential.
Alongside this, a number of personal qualities will be key to your success. These include the capacity to think on your feet and the ability to work well as part of a team.
