Accuracy : Low, even we're just talking about "suppressive fire". After a few hundred meters ... the hits may be widely spread.
Standing like that without cover, must be sniper's favorite.
May be there's something blocking (outside the photo) his view therefore he gotta stand up.
May be there's some cover on his left (outside the photo).
US Army are cocky, but they're not that dumb to risk their neck like that.
As least that's not the case on the photo/video of their real engagement there that I've saw so far.
