QUOTE FROM WGY by raidtoraid
It is because the S.F. has lack of confidence on Dragonskin. Nothing to do with the politics.
When Pinnacle Armor first launched the Dragonskin body armour in the market, they didn't even have any test certificates approved by the National Institute of Justice (aka NIJ test reports). I believe Pinnacle Armor received the NIJ Level III test certificate not long ago, they didn't even have a NIJ Level IV certificate for their Level IV body armour until now. How would the U.S. Special Forces be interested to try a body armour without NIJ approval?????
As far as we know, most U.S. Special Forces are using NIJ Level IV body armour for their operations, therefore Dragonskin didn't meet their basic requirements.
Correct me if I am wrong.
