It is the Waterloo Eagle which is one of the unique insignia of the "Blues and Royals" of the Household Cavalry, under which Cornet" Harry Wales" serves:

On full dress uniform (the one with the breast plate and dragoon helmet), it is worn on the upper left sleeve.

The "Waterloo Eagle" was worn proudly onthe full dress of "Blues and Royal" very much like the bearskin is worn by the Foot Guards, which was originally the headgear of Napoleon's Imperial Guards, defeated by the Coldstream Guards at the Battle of Waterloo.

I am sorry but I could not see any German or Waterloo Eagle from your Url...same as the one Prince Harry wearing on the TV together withe the US Base Ball Cap.

Anyway, I do not know why we have to spending so much time on this kind of rubbish.

Thanks B20...I feel that the UK is not side by side with the US but only following and running with the US.
